The Philippine Society for Microbiology, Inc. will convene microbiology educators, scientists, researchers, and experts in their respective fields for its 42nd Annual Scientific Meeting and Convention in Tagaytay City on April 18-19, 2013 at the Summit Ridge Hotel. This year’s theme “FOSTERING SOCIETAL TRANSFORMATIONS THROUGH INNOVATIVE MICROBIOLOGY EDUCATION AND RESEARCH” highlights the vital role of novel pedagogies and research in changing our society to a better one. Experts from all over the world as well as Filipino microbiologist and educators have been invited to share how their researches are contributing towards societal transformations. The Convention also provides a venue for local experts to disseminate their most recent breakthroughs in microbiology, biotechnology and education through poster and oral technical paper sessions as well as renew ties with colleagues from the academe and industry.
